San Pancho´s beach is the prize that the Pacific offers after going down to the coast through the beautiful town. The sand is light-grained and smooth and the waves are regular, so surfing is one of the favorite entertainments. You can also scuba dive or simply sunbathe observing the landscape in which the green of the mountains competes in intensity and beauty with the blue of the sea.

San Pancho is home to the Grupo Ecológico de la Costa Verde, one of the largest turtle conservation projects in Banderas Bay and the Riviera Nayarita. During high season (November to April), the Grupo Ecológico de la Costa Verde perform public releases of baby sea turtles, a unique spectacle you won´t want to miss.
During high season in San Pancho you can enjoy live music almost every night. Most of the restaurants have music shows for their customers, but you will also be able to appreciate them while walking down the main avenue. Also, once a week there is an open mic night at one of the local bars. Finally, every year in February, San Pancho hosts the San Pancho Music Festival, a three-day festival that brings together musicians from Mexico and all over the world.
